Christmastime..... Cleveland Style

I'm going home. Going to see Public Square in the snow. Going to see the Christmas lights in Lakewood.  Going to lay the Christmas wreaths at the cemeteries  in person for all the Wests and the Haas - and special one - for you, Gram.

I can't wait to walk arm in arm with my man down the streets of Cleveland in the dead of winter.
We will leave the Ritz, walk down a few blocks to our favorite restaurant, Chinato, have dinner and walk back - lingering here and there, looking at the Christmas lights on the old buildings, and people watching. Maybe I can talk him into a carriage ride.  We took one of those once in Cleveland - the first time we visited together, many, many years ago.  That would be nice.

I think I want to see the Christmas Story House, Little Italy, and Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.  Skating at Winterhust would be great - but I heard it's an indoor rink now.  That's sad.  There was nothing like skating at Winterhurst in the winter, when it was snowing.  Rocky River rink was fun - but it was indoors.  Winterhurst was my favorite.

I really don't care what we do - all I know is I'm going home for a few days.
Clevelandgirlie.... is going home.
Let it SNOW!!
